We are two sisters originally from Indonesia and this website is our home. This will be the place where we share our multiple hobbies (because who doesn’t need multiple hobbies in this stressful era we are living in!). At first, we wanted this website to solely talk about art, but we realized we have way more things to say. Like Nina and her plants, and also Aggy and her books. So why not share that here too!

Nina
The Little Sister
Art has always been a part of my life. My love affair with art started when my parents bought me my first paint set when I was around 6 years old. I don’t quite remember what kind of paint it was, but ever since then I’d always have a set with me. Simply put, arts and crafts were always welcomed and encouraged in my family. The main medium I create with now is watercolour. I started my journey with watercolour in 2017. Initially it was just something I did to kill time, but it didn’t take long for me to fall completely in love with it. I’m currently obsessed with creating watercolour pieces inspired by nature and wildlife, it gives me such a sense of peace and I find it incredibly therapeutic. So, I’m constantly looking for flowers, plants, trees and animals to paint whenever I’m out and about!

Aggy
The Big Sister
My style is more abstract. I fell in love with art through surrealism when I was in high school, my teacher was really kind and gave me a boost of confidence in doing creative things. Sadly I didn’t pursue it further but it has always left a significant mark in my life. I think this is why I keep returning to doing creative things. I have multiple interests, like art journaling, creating abstract patterns (which I used to turn into tote bags and pouches to sell) – at the moment I am postponing my businesswoman side but who knows!), and also I am a huge book nerd. Reading has always been my solace. I find comfort in curling up with a cup of tea and a good book. Lately I have been reading more books outside of my comfort zone and I am always looking for diverse book recommendations.
